The Battle in Weapon X was a fight where the Brotherhood of Mutants staged a Mutant revolt.
History[]
James Howlett had been the only X-Men member not to be captured into Weapon X. He met with the Brotherhood and swallowed a tracking device before being captured by Weapon X. The Brotherhood followed him to Weapon X, and cut the power, freeing the Mutants captured there. The imprisoned Mutants and X-Men fought with the Brotherhood, and Piotr Rasputin had it planned to kill the Weapon X soldiers. Jean Gray stopped him from doing so, and the Mutants reluctantly agreed to spare the soldiers' lives. Nick Fury arrived and killed Weapon X mastermind John Wraith anyway, and the Mutants went their separate ways.
