Franklin Dukes or the Blob is a Mutant and member of the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Biography[]
In the Brotherhood, Dukes participated in capturing George Bush's daughter and bombing London. After Erik Lensherr's plan failed, he helped the Brotherhood free the X-Men in Weapon X. He held the getaway chopper of John Wraith, but released it after Jean Gray told the Mutants not to kill any humans. Wraith was killed anyway by Nick Fury, who let the Mutants go. Dukes later masqueraded as a girl online, and held conversations with Henry McCoy to gain more information on the X-Men. Masquerading as 'Naomi', a Mutant supermodel, Dukes spent more and more time talking with McCoy, and McCoy gradually felt Naomi was the only person he could trust. Dukes took a little break to aid Pietro Lensherr in disarming India and Pakistan's nuclear arsenals, but went right back to trying to sway McCoy to the Brotherhood, even against Prosimian's concerns. McCoy revealed that Lensherr did not die, and was living with his mind wiped of every being Magneto, shocking Dukes. Prosimian had Dukes arrange a meeting with McCoy, and at the meeting McCoy was beat in an alley. The Brotherhood found Lensherr and freed him of Charles Xavier's mental blocks. Lensherr kept Dukes as an ally, and killed Prosimian.
