London is the capital of the United Kingdom and one of the most historically important cities on Earth. It has a population of eight million, the twenty-first largest city in the world. Its urban agglomeration of nine million is twenty-ninth in the world.
History[]
Big Ben and the M16 building were bombed by Scott Summers and the Brotherhood of Mutants to stop the creation of British Sentinels. He later returned, back with the X-Men, as part of a lecture tour being given by Charles Xavier. The X-Men stopped a drug ring, and IRA plot to yet again bomb London, and reformed a group of muggers before they were called to Muir Island.
