Muir Island is a home for dangerous Mutants to be rehabilitated.
History[]
Charles Xavier opened the facility to house dangerous Mutants, including his son David Xavier. Moira MacTaggert ran the facility without any major incident until David convulsed and his body died, but his consciousness leapt into a nurse and trashed the facility, killing half the people before escaping. The X-Men and S.T.R.I.K.E. visited the facility before resuming to pursue David.
