Ultimate Spider-Man 4 was the fourth Ultimate Spider-Man issue.
Summary[]
Peter Parker and Mary Jane Parker nervously wait at a fancy French restaurant and are greeted by Harry Osborn who apologizes for the stuffy atmosphere. Mary Jane mentions getting a new job, and then Harry's wife Gwen Stacy arrives. Once they begin eating, Mary Jane and Peter admit they haven't had a proper date since having children, with Harry and Gwen saying they have none despite eight years of marriage. Mary Jane discusses being unhappy with the crisis management firm she worked at so she started her own PR business, now supporting The Paper. The Paper's owners, Ben Parker and J Jonah Jameson discuss it babysitting the Parkers' kids, but May Parker II asks for Jameson to leave. Harry is skeptical the venture will work out, and Gwen asks Peter to dig deeper into the black-suited superhero then gives him a putdown about his lack of ambition. At the Parkers', May has gone to bed, and Richard Parker II and Ben talk about his love of reading. Gwen and Mary Jane go to the bathroom together and Gwen asks if she can help launch The Paper. Harry admonishes Peter for not telling Mary Jane about his crime-fighting life, and says while he can't force Peter to confront bigger structural evils his power gives him a great responsibility. As Peter and Mary Jane walk home, she admits Harry and Gwen came off as scary, but that Peter is her superhero.
