Ultimate X-Men 18: World Tour Part 3 is the eighteenth Ultimate X-Men issue.
Summary[]
In Russia, Jean Gray and Scott Summers follow Piotr Rasputin through his day, trying to convince him to return to the X-Men and help Russians trapped underwater in a submarine. Rasputin refuses, saying that he can live a normal life without Charles Xavier's help, as hiding his powers is easy. At the Berlin airport where David Xavier was tracked to, Bobby Drake voices his annoyance at the situation but happiness at teaming up with the Ultimates that Betsy Braddock sent for, as Moira MacTaggert reveals that their last family vacation was here. Braddock and Xavier telepathically converse about having David join the X-Men, and Xavier reveals that he and MacTaggert were some of the first to write on Mutants, and that drew the attention of Erik Lensherr. Xavier slowly grew dissatisfied with his home life and left David and MacTaggert, and David's Mutant powers activated the next day. Still shielding themselves from others, Gray and Summers tell Rasputin that Anthony Stark is the submarine's only hope now, as Rasputin disagrees with Xavier's regiment of non-violence. Rasputin kicks Gray and Summers out, but television news reports that Stark is in space and cannot help the submarine. At a Russian beach, Rasputin arrives to save the submarine and swims underwater, and uses all his strength to carry it back to the beach. At a park bench, Xavier converses with Braddock about Rasputin's return to the X-Men, and reveals that he knows that David is possessing her. David admits to it and tells his father that he will kill him, the X-Men, and everything they have accomplished.
