Ultimate X-Men 23: Hellfire and Brimstone Part 3 is the twenty-third Ultimate X-Men issue.

Summary[]

Kitty Pryde tells Henry McCoy that they have Danger Room exercises soon, but continues talking to Franklin Dukes online, who he thinks is a Mutant supermodel Naomi. Prosimian chastises Dukes' mission, but Dukes has him watch an ape documentary on the Discovery Channel. Jean Gray lies in Scott Summers's lap in a park talking about the reappearance of her visions, which Gray tells Summers are the result of the ultra-dimensional Phoenix Force trying to contact her. Summers is actually on a flight to the Savage Land with James Howlett to investigate the disappearance of some soldiers, and they are telepathically communicating. Dukes and McCoy continue talking, with Dukes trying to sway McCoy away from supporting humans, but McCoy stays to his beliefs. At Bobby Drake's house, Andrew Turk says that Drake will give a speech denouncing the X-Men, and Drake feels like it is the wrong thing to do, but his parents remind him that they need Xavier's money or they are broke. McCoy tells 'Naomi' that Erik Lensherr is still alive after the Battle for Washington D.C., shocking Dukes. In the Savage Land, Howlett and Summers begin their tracking mission, and find that Kitty stowed away with them when a dinosaur scares her. They send her back to the Blackbird, and continue their mission. Now with a massive crowd, Dukes keeps talking to McCoy and learns where Lensherr is, and Prosimian has him arrange a meeting.
