Ultimate X-Men 24: Hellfire and Brimstone Part 4 is the twenty-fourth Ultimate X-Men issue.
Summary[]
Scott Summers and James Howlett descended into the Savage Land's depths, trying to locate what caused the disappearance of a group of United States soldiers. Atop the Blackbird, Kitty Pryde calls Charles Xavier and apologizes for stowing away with Summers and Howlett, but Xavier orders her expelled. Xavier angrily ends the call as Jean Gray walks into the room to join Xavier as they prepare to watch Bobby Drake denounce the X-Men. Ororo Munroe goes to get Henry McCoy, but he is preparing to go on a date with 'Naomi', which is actually a trap rigged by Prosimian and the Brotherhood of Mutants. Andrew Turk prepares for Drake to read a prepared speech on live television against the X-Men, but Drake instead stands by the X-Men despite his injuries, shocking everybody. In the underground caverns of the Savage Land, Howlett and Summers are attacked by hordes of seemingly reanimated corpses, but Howlett shreds them all. They find that the Savage Land supercomputer has a whole second swarm with guns ready to kill them. The supercomputer explains that it has created its own superior race for 21st Century life when it suddenly explodes as Kitty had phased back to the X-Men to complain about a dinosaur upstairs, somehow effecting the electronics. In New York, the Hellfire Club, Xavier's benefactors decide it is time to meet Xavier as a planetary alignment is falling into place.
