Ultimate X-Men 2 was the second Ultimate X-Men issue.
Summary[]
Hisako Ichiki lays in bed and drifts off to have a dream about skipping school with Tsubasa, who confided in her he was thinking of dropping out of school. The eye of the Shadow King scares her, and she finds another note in her hand. Going outside, Hisako promises to get eggs for her mom and runs into Mei Igarashi who claims to recognize Hisako from the car crash. Hisako shows her the note saying to meet in the science lab of an abandoned school and Mei convinces her to go, calling Hisako a superhero as she confides in her new powers. A police officer finds them before they find the science lab where the Shadow King says Tsubasa's bullies will now be dead. The police officer dissolves into maggots and Hisako and Mei flee, Mei using wind-based superpowers to blow the maggots away before Hisako's armor reactivates, destroying the Shadow King. Somewhere in a house, a man awakens from meditation and says he recognizes Hisako from a drawing he has. At the Irodori High School entrance ceremony, Hisako thinks about three boys found dead at her middle school and is excited to see Mei in her class. They wonder if the Shadow King was behind the boys' deaths.
