Summary[]

Sentinels patrol New York while the X-Men enjoy freedom wearing their gene-hiding suits. In a Danger Room simulation, James Howlett easily defeats and kills all the other X-Men, but Charles Xavier reminds him that the purpose was not to kill the others. Bobby Drake informs them that President George Bush's daughter has been kidnapped by the Brotherhood of Mutants. The X-Men set out to Croatia to save her, and quickly take down the building the Brotherhood is in. Scott Summers drives off with the girl, but Pietro Lensherr takes the key, stopping the car. Pietro is blasted by Summers, and is defeated quickly by James Howlett. While Mortimer Toynbee attacks the other X-Men, Howlett drives off with the girl, avoiding Wanda Lensherr's hex bolts and driving into Jean Gray's Blackbird. Piotr Rasputin spots Erik Lensherr arriving, and Ororo Munroe sees Henry McCoy unconscious and covered by by rubble.
