Ultimate X-Men 4: Betrayal is the fourth Ultimate X-Men issue.

Summary[]

Ororo Munroe and Piotr Rasputin begin to dig Henry McCoy out from under debris while Scott Summers and Bobby Drake are pinned down by Croatian shooters. Erik Lensherr scolds the X-Men for ensuring the Sentinel program will continue, and allows them to escape. As the X-Men leave, Lensherr ensures the Brotherhood of Mutants that James Howlett will kill Charles Xavier. Jean Gray and Xavier use their telepathy to preform surgery on McCoy, and Howlett sees Gray as she looks after McCoy. She explains that she used a revolutionary new transplant procedure on McCoy as the two walk. Gray admits she is attracted to Howlett, and they make out in the garden with Summers watching them. Summers goes to talk to Xavier who is accepting an invitation to Washington D.C.. Summers gets annoyed at Xavier talking with what he is viewing as the enemy, while McCoy awakes with his hair turned blue. The Blackbird lands in the Savage Land and Summers joins the Brotherhood.
