Summary[]
A bomb explodes in Big Ben in London as the Brotherhood of Mutants get on to the Blackbird piloted by Scott Summers. In a Washington D.C. hotel room Jean Gray and James Howlett are using, Howlett takes Gray under the covers to tell her something. Charles Xavier and the other four X-Men meet George Bush in the White House where he confirms the Sentinels have been taken offline. Bush announces that they found the Savage Land and are sending all the Sentinels to destroy the Brotherhood. Summers talks to Erik Lensherr about how he is uncomfortable with killing, but Lensherr comforts him by saying it is their duty to rule as the more intelligent race on the planet. Outside the Brotherhood building, Wanda Lensherr and Pietro Lensherr talk as the Sentinels arrive. Lensherr reprograms the Sentinels to make them kill non-mutants. Summers calls this the last straw and leaves after the Sentinels to Washington.
