Ultimate X-Men 7: Return to Weapon X was the seventh Ultimate X-Men issue, beginning a new story arc.
Summary[]
At the Weapon X headquarters in Finland, John Wraith leads his S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers after Kurt Wagner who is attempting to escape. Wagner kills three men as Abraham Cornelius reminds the soldiers not to kill Wagner. Wraith manages to incapacitate a Wagner who has ran out of teleporting energy. In Arizona, James Howlett investigates the remains of a Weapon X base on physic link with Charles Xavier. In Xavier Institute for Gifted Children, Jean Gray puts kangaroo and gorilla organs in Henry McCoy, and tells him of the X-Men's Japan interview. In Japan, Scott Summers, Ororo Munroe, and Piotr Rasputin explain that Mutants should not be persecuted against. They sign autographs and take the Blackbird home, while they are observed by Marian Carlyle who reports to Wraith that she has learned the X-Men's location.
