Summary[]
Nick Fury descends on Delhi, India to investigate a genetics operation that violates the superhuman test treaty. Coordinating with S.H.I.E.L.D., he uses several gadgets to get to the source of the tests, and is shocked at what he finds before contact is lost with him. Thaddeus Ross and John Wraith meet, where Wraith suggests sending in the captured X-Men after Fury. Ross is reluctant to agree, especially with James Howlett unaccounted for, and Charles Xavier dead. In holding cells, Scott Summers talks with Cain Marko and Marian Carlyle about the Mutants future while Jean Gray telepathically links with Kurt Wagner to learn about him. Victor Creed carries in Henry McCoy who has been mutated into a stronger body, covered in blue skin. Summers, Gray, and Wagner are sent to finish Fury's mission, while the other X-Men attempt to rescue him. Wraith settles on using Cerebo to find Howlett.
