Biography[]
Wanda and her brother Pietro Lensherr are the children of a human and Erik Lensherr. They were recruited to the Brotherhood of Mutants and lived in the Savage Land. Wanda went with other Brotherhood members to kidnap George Bush's daughter and bring her to Croatia. The Brotherhood decided to let the X-Men go after James Howlett saved the President's daughter. When Scott Summers joined the Brotherhood, Wanda was immediately attracted to him. While talking to Pietro, Sentinels attacked the area and Lensherr reprogrammed them. Summers chased after him in the Blackbird, and Pietro followed. Upon hearing Charles Xavier killed her father, Wanda and Pietro raided a military convoy for his body. Summers, Piotr Rasputin, and Bobby Drake intervened and when Lensherr's body was not on the convoy, Wanda kissed Summers and left a grieving Pietro. Howlett later called in the Brotherhood to free the X-Men from Weapon X. Wanda led the Brotherhood there, and supported killing the Weapon X personnel, but was stopped by Jean Gray. Angered, the Brotherhood left, with Marian Carlyle and Cain Marko. Pietro and Wanda later met Xavier at a neutral site in an art museum where Xavier encouraged the two to go after human corruption.
Pietro and Wanda did some work for Nick Fury and the Ultimates for the release of political prisoners. At one operation where Natalia Romanova and Clint Barton killed Chitauri sleeper agents, Wanda and Pietro seemed to just eat together at cafe nearby, but Pietro assured Romanova that he saved them three times with his super speed. This was the same for the Battle of Arizona, as Pietro assured Romanova he and Wanda helped the Ultimates. Wanda and Pietro broke a new group of animal evolutionaries from a lab and they worked to help disarm India and Pakistan of nuclear weapons.

Wanda is very intelligent, and often enjoys reading and the arts. Despite this, she is firmly committed to her father's ideals and believes in the superiority of Mutants.
